Finalists in 2019 Construction Excellence Awards announced

The CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Awards are one of the most instantly recognised, respected and hotly contested awards in the Northern Irish construction industry.

The awards provide a wonderful opportunity to showcase the best of the construction industry in Northern Ireland and to celebrate the industry’s achievements. The aim of the competition is to promote excellence and to give recognition to those companies who are achieving the highest standards of construction. The kudos of winning an award continues to grow each year.

Commenting, David Fry, Assistant Director of the Construction Employers Federation, said:

“The sheer scale and variety of the work on display in this year’s shortlist is testament to the high level of quality, skill, and innovation that underpins the construction industry in Northern Ireland.

“Our annual Construction Excellence Awards are a celebration of the fantastic work that the sector delivers every year across the UK, Ireland and further afield and, importantly, recognise the huge contribution that the sector makes to the local economy.

“Our panel of expert judges have been hugely impressed with the calibre of entries this year and now have very difficult decisions to make. I warmly congratulate all of this year’s shortlisted companies and wish them every success in the Awards.”

The entries will be judged within fifteen award categories under the headings of housing, general construction, infrastructure, quality performance and GB and Republic of Ireland construction. All judging will take place during August and the winners will be unveiled at the Gala Evening at the Crowne Plaza Belfast on 10 October.
